Coding skills are an essential element of the courses we offer and the type of coding you will study depends on your course level:
Level 2: HTML, Dreamweaver, Jumpcraft, Scratch, Python.
Level 3: HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Scratch, Python, Visual Studio (VB, NET, C#), Gamemaker, First Person Shooter (FPS), CSS, RPG Maker.
Access to IT: Java.

Our aim is to produce graduates with substantial practical skills who can move easily and effectively into industry anywhere in the world.
Full time education:
Full time courses begin at GCSE level with a suite of BTEC qualifications leading eventually to Degree level. The more advanced levels offer the option of specialising in Games Design. Many students join at age 16 and others come to Northbrook specifically for our university-level courses.
Part time courses:
The department also offers evening courses for adults in web design and development.
